Red Fountain Grass is a deciduous grass with deep purple leaves. Feathery dark pink flower heads rise above foliage in summer. Blooms tan with age. Utilize full, clumping habit in containers or borders. Deer resistant.

Thrives in most well draining soils. Prune back to 4 inches above ground in late winter before new growth. Sterile variety will not reseed and crowd out other plants.
