Evergreen shrub with crooked branch structure. Large, glossy, light green leaves stand out against attractive smooth red bark. Clusters of small, white, bell-shaped flowers in late winter. Use as a dramatic specimen in waterwise gardens in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
