Gold Nugget Mandarin is an evergreen citrus that produces bright orange mandarins with distinct, textured rinds in early spring. Sweet-tart fruits are seedless and easy to peel. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento. Fragrant blossoms attract pollinators like bees.
