In early spring, branches are covered with small, dark red, rose-like blooms. After blooming, foliage emerges red and matures to medium green. Use Flowering Quince Kurokoji as a foundation plant, hedge, or in containers in areas like Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
