California Pepper Tree is a deer resistant, evergreen tree with green, narrow leaflets that hang gracefully from branches. Standard tree form. Small, pale-yellow flowers in summer produce red berries. Excellent drought tolerant shade tree in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
