Blue Oat Grass, a perennial grass, forms clumps of silver-blue foliage with tan flower clusters that bloom in spring. Use in waterwise landscapes as a border or groundcover. Full sun, low water, deer resistant, drought tolerant. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.

Grows well in enriched, well draining soil. In early spring, cut back faded foliage for fresh new growth. Feed with an all purpose fertilizer in spring when new growth appears.
