Apple ‘Gala’ is a self fruitful tree that yields reddish-orange over yellow, crisp apples in late summer. Sweet and tart fruits store very well and are great for baking. Dwarfed stature allows for easy harvest and pruning. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
