In spring, magenta flower clusters are followed by bright green, heart-shaped leaves maturing to blue-green. Western Redbud has fall colors of yellow and red. Use California native as a lawn tree, accent or small space tree in areas like Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
