Grows well in a variety of average, well draining soils. Take care not to damage sensitive roots when transplanting. Water regularly when top 3 inches of soil dry out when growing in containers. Provide growing plants with support such as an arbor or trellis. Feed with a fruit and vine fertilizer in spring as new growth appears.
