Evergreen shrub with a dense, bushy habit. Edible, white flowers with red stamens in late spring, followed by edible fruit. Can be shaped into a screening hedge or small tree. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento. Flowers attract humming birds and butterflies.
