Flowering Plum ‘Purple Pony’ is an ornamental, deciduous, semi-dwarf tree with single, pale pink flowers in spring before black-purple leaves emerge. Use as an accent or lawn tree. Fruitless variety.
Plant in enriched and well drained soil. In spring, feed with a tree and shrub fertilizer before new growth. Prune annually to maintain desired size.
