Dwarf Alberta Spruce is a deer resistant, evergreen tree with a compact, conical habit. Dense, soft, very fine foliage emerges bright green and matures to gray-green. Use as an accent, hedge, topiary, potted plant or living Christmas tree.

Tolerant of most soils with good drainage. Prune in winter. Prune topiary to maintain shape. Feed in spring, before new growth, with a multipurpose fertilizer. When using as a living Christmas tree, bring in 10 days before Christmas. Once tree is indoors, place ice cubes around the base.
