Nepeta or Catmint is a perennial that blooms short violet flower spikes in summer and fall. Use as a border in waterwise landscapes or filler in a pot. Full sun, low water, deer resistant, attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
