Deciduous shrub with upright habit and arching branches. Globe shaped clusters of white flowers bloom in early spring. Use as an accent in perennial gardens or as a border in mass plantings. Blooms attract butterflies and bees. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.

Tolerates wet soils. Prune in late spring after flowers fade. Save heavy pruning for this time as pruning later in the year may remove next year’s flowers. Feed with an all purpose fertilizer in spring before new growth appears.
