Plant in enriched garden soil 1-2 weeks after last frost. Leave 12″ of space between each plant. Fertilize when transplanting and when beans are about to bloom. Provide a trellis to support growing plants. Water early morning or late evening. Pods are ready for harvest when they snap or break cleanly in half.
