Sempervivum Sunset is a Rosette-forming succulent that showcases deep red-purple leaves tipped bright green. Dwarf variety of Hen and Chicks is a good groundcover and container plant. Thick stalks develop red flowers in summer. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
