Aloe vera is a succulent with upward growing, thick leaves. Gel-like liquid within the leaves is traditionally valued for medicinal use and sun burns. Use in waterwise landscapes or pots. Part sun, low water, drought tolerant.

Performs best in well-drained soil. Allow soil to dry in between watering. Tolerates little watering most of the year. Performs best with more frequent watering during our hot, dry summers. May be kept indoors in bright light.
