Clematis is a deciduous vine with a vigorous, climbing habit. Clusters of flower in colors of pink, red, blue, purple and white bloom among green, divided leaflets and attract butterflies. Grows well in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento. Cold hardy foliage is also waterwise.
